aNNuaL Dinner 23 Nov 2006

We held our company annual dinner at Changi Le Meridien Hotel 8th floor beside the swimming pool. The view is nice because is surrounded by sea. Cannot see much during night time. We still have door gift, one set of christmas pack from Body Shop. keke

We are having BBQ buffet. The gray fish is the hottest items. By second round, whole plate finished. Left prawn only. Still have sushi, satay and a lot of food. I get 3rd prize for lucky draw. Miss the 2nd prize cos is voucher + Zen Vision W. But 3rd prize still not bad.

Am destiny to become housewife. All the gift i get since 1st year until now link to kitchen utensil. Do i?..........keke

Anyway, is a wonderful dinner we had last night.

November 2006...........coming to the end of year 2006

This my new toy. Looks very nice.

Think my blog have stop for few mths.

Just come back from HongKong holiday with my dear. Was a wonderful holiday.

Tell u something, if you go to hongkong for holiday, dont miss out the Esprit Factory Outlet. The clothes and makeup access there is cheap and worth the quality. Dont miss out this place. If you have not been to US or Japan Disneyland, Hongkong Disneyland is an interesting place also. Is quite entertaiment to me. Worth to go!

Food and things in Hongkong is exp.......exp.....expensive. One bowl of noodles cost about $4++. But still have cheap food in some area. We live in Wan Chai area. So the food there is a bit high. U all can try temples night street market. Dim sum there is cheap. Ate 4 plate with a big tea pot, cost about $6++.

For those people like almond food and beef, hongkong is the best place for you. Everywhere you go, you can find beef restaurant and almond cookies or dimsum with almond.

For people never been to HongKong, you can plan for it. Is a interesting place.

Is weekend again and i'm working today. =p

Photo taken on Siah's wedding. This is really a school gathering for Canossian Convent school. We are so excited and happy because it has been a long time we never meet up each other especially Siew Wan and Fei Miang.

Too bad, after the dinner, Lis has to rush back to KL. If not, we can have another coffee session. Hiang and me ask hui ling's gang, yoke farn and yen ling for another coffee session at Heidi.


Hiang and Lis looks very elegant on that day. :) I like the apple hair pin at my hair. Belong to my sister. Smiling quite uncomfortable for me because i still on braces. Smile unnaturally. Hui Ling is my good friends since primary school.

Next wedding dinner will be Yoke Farn's turn. Should be around Nov 2007. Let guesse how we looks like on year 2007. hehe

My teeth in braces now.

Am not lazy. Just the braces making my teeth feel so unconfortable now. Feel a bit itchy also .hehe. My colleague said i cannot feel the pain anymore, so the feeling is itchiness. MAybe ?

The moment i wake up this morning, feeling there's ulcer at my left side of my mouth. Make me more discomfort. The doctor said i will be fine after 2 days. Talking is a bit difficult for me because the braces is forcing my mouth right now. But i will cope with it soon.

Go KArt

Went to play go-kart last weekend. Is thrilling and exciting sports. The price a bit expensive. 10 minutes charge RM20. We drive 60CC only. There are small motorbike also but is too dangerous for us to play. So we are not advise to drive the bike.

First time driving go-kart is something interesting. You must drive very fast to get that kind of exciting feeling. But i think is too exciting for me. Hard to control the go-kart because the circuit there have a lot of corner. Nearly hit the tyres there. Should give it a try if you have a chance to play. It looks very easy but actually not.

I think this sports only attract Singaporeans to play because the charge is so expensive. When i was there, i saw a lot of Singaporeans driving go-kart. Most of them drive very well. They drive over me more than 5 lap. hahaha. Driving go-kart must be fast and furious. Or else, is not interesting at all.

Think i update my blog only few times a month now because i am really busy with my work. Thanks for my reader who have so much patience to wait for my next blog.

Half year of 2006 has passed and what i have been doing? work.......work and work. Luckily i still managed to find time to go for my facial, salon and pedicure. =p . Think i miss my facial for 2 months.

I have been slacking for the whole week because my manager has went to Australia for 10 days. ENVY! Lis, i know u have been there few months ago. Sigh. When is my turn? Is not i like Australia that much but i do feel like going for holiday when i still can afford it. Life is short. Hiang just came back from China also. Saw your beautiful picture and is very nice. I mean u look nicer than the background. =p. Maybe my turn will come soon.

Never contact my dear convent gals since chinese new year. So sorry for that. Heard a bad news from one of them yesterday. To me, is a blessing in disguise. Dont worry, everything will go smoothly sooner and later. Brave up.

Have to get back to work.

issit good or bad?

Finally my company employed another person. She will be helping my manager and operations department. As for me, i will fully concentrate on purchasing department. That's what my boss and manager told me few days ago. My lady boss also passed me the notes of functions for processing purchases transactions. Do you think is a good news or bad news?

There are good and bad reasons. Shall not disclose too much here. =p

Thanks for my gals and friend who care about me. I need a lot of support to keep my life going on. I do feel sad always but i know am very fortunate to have you all stay behind me always. I tell myself not to cry but i just cannot help it. My heart ruling my minds. I know am bad.

Salty Coffee

He met her on a party. She was so outstanding, many guys chasing after her, while he was so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was surprised, but due to being polite, she promised. They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable, she thought, please, let me go home.. Suddenly he asked the waiter:

" Would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee."


Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red, but, still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it.

She asked him curiously: why you have this hobby?

He replied: " when I was a little boy, I was living near the sea, I liked playing in the sea, I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I always think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who are still living there ".


While saying that tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched.

That's his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart. A man who can tell out his homesickness, he must be a man who loves home, cares about home, has responsibility of home.. Then she also started to speak, spoke about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story. They continued to date. She found that actually he was a man who meets all her demands; he had tolerance, was kind hearted, warm, careful. He was such a good person but she almost missed him!


Thanks to his salty coffee! Then the story was just like every beautiful love story, the princess married to the prince, then they were living the happy life... And, every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in the coffee, as she knew that's the way he liked it.


After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said: " My dearest, please forgive me, forgive my whole life lie. This was the only lie I said to you---the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt It was hard for me to change so I just went ahead. I never thought that could be the start of our communication! I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie to you for anything..


Now I'm dying, I afraid of nothing so I tell you the truth: I don't like the salty coffee, what a strange bad taste.. But I have had the salty coffee for my whole life! Since I knew you, I never feel sorry for anything I do for you. Having you with me is my biggest happiness for my whole life. If I can live for the second time, still want to know you and have you for my whole life, even though I have to drink the salty coffee again".


Her tears made the letter totally wet.

Someday, someone asked her: what's the taste of salty coffee? It's sweet. She replied.

Who bully me today?

Lis, am really working like a bull this few months. Am getting old faster than you gals. Maybe strive for the bonus ba. hahaha.

Today was a bad day in work. A chief officer dare to scold me back . $#%$%3......You think i will put up with you. We shall see who will win in the end. Maybe my patience bar already exceed the limit and make me lose my temper towards them. Think i have to torelate with them because most of them are not educated and needs more supervising. Just another day. I shall pour out my anger and frustation here. #$%%#......Ok. Think is enough.

Finally is end of May

May finally going to end. Bon vovage to Celine. Hope you having a great time in US for 2 yrs. Hopefully we shall see again in 2 years time. Thanks for your Perlini Silver chain. I like it very much.

Finally am recovered. My supplier passed me Luo Han Guo. Somehow, i have no time to make into the dessert. Appreciate it but i really dont have time. Where i put the Luo Han Guo? Ha.

Bad luck upon MAXY

I am having throat infection for almost 3 weeks. Till date, the pain is still there. I have seen doctor for 3 times and yet still not recovered. Sigh

Nothing good happens to me recently. Is a bad omen. Everthing that i don't want are coming near to me. I running bad luck recently. Guess what?

What a Day !!!

I never believed it also. I fall down outside the storeroom yesterday. Knee and arms are bleeding. Is painful. My sister does not believe such a big person also will fall down so badly. Sigh.......

Wounds can be found mostly at my left side of my body. Having a shower is most difficult things for me because the wounds will pain if touch water. Had seen doctor and he said is fine. My hand was not fractured but badly bruist. hmmm........

Looks very neat right. Indeed. I tidied up purposely to take a shot when i take some picture for some spare part. I have piles of paper work and files on my desk. I push aside before take this picture. Under my desk, full of engine spare part. My colleague said my place looks like "karang guni". hmmmmm

Wonder why i become so fragile? I really envy Lis who has the courage to do everything in her life. I also envy Hiang who looks sweet and lovely always. I do like myself in certain way but not everything. I know what i want but i just stubborn. Hoping i can achieve something one day but not much time for me. I decide not to be so stubborn anymore.

Today is my dad's birthday. Wish you have a healthy lifestyle. Is time for u to cut down all the fat meat and sugar.

Another happy thing is my sister pass her result in flying colours in STPM. Congratulate. Her wish to go into the best university in Malaysia finally realized. She get 3A's and 1 A-. 3 siblings can get into the same U and best U in Msia. I think my dad will be the happiest person. He never think that 3 of us will make into the best U.

I just came back from KL last weekend. Wonderful and rushing trip. Arrive KL around 6.15pm because is school holiday. Everywhere is so crowded. Wait for Lis at Pudu Raya. So sorry for Hiang cos i promised to be there ard 2-3pm. Come out, i came so late. She wait 4 hrs at Berjaya Times Square for us. Opss....

We went into Japanese restaurant for our dinner. Am having seafood teppanyaki. Not bad. After that, shopping time started. First shop is Element, my favourite shop at Berjaya Times Square. Decide not to buy any clothes, come out there's a sales this time. So i bought few sets. Hiang and Lis bought few sets also. I recommend this shop to them. After shopping, wait for someone to pick the gers up.

On Sunday, we went to Mid Valley megamall to shop. Another favourite place i like to hang around. I bought 3 pairs of shoes this time. Thinking of going back to Singapore later, decide not to buy so much heavy stuff. Finally is time for me to say goodbye to Lis and Hiang. They continue to shop because they took leave on Monday.

happy birthday Qing

Qing is my schoolmates since Pri 1. Is been 20 years we know each other. Time pass really fast. Am waiting for your big day. hehe. Foresee within 2 years time.

Nothing to peek at my blog also. My work schedule so tight since last Septmenber 2005. Work....work....work. Another vessel TEP just arrived at jetty yesterday. Upgrading job for vessel need to complete within 1 and 1/2 mths. Neh....i foresee at least 2 mths above. Volans upgrading still in progress. Hopefully all the project will run smoothly for me.

Today is Saturday. Hope everyone i know enjoy their day.

This phrase has create a big problem for me for the past few days. Finally is resolved. Is a long story why this phrase suddenly pop up. Past is past. hmmmm. I shall remember the morale of this stories that really discouraged me. I does not want to drink milk. I still like plain water. hahahaha......

Chat with Shareen just now. She's pregnant and this is her 4th child. Hope she get what she want. :). Delivery around month of October.

Today slacking a bit but does not mean i never complete my job. Just lazy to do my paperwork. Lis came bck from PP yesterday. Had u buy penang laksa for me? She said i'm crazy because is impossible to bring back to me. Donno when i have chance to eat my penang laksa again?hmmmmmmmmmm................The most convenient place to enjoy the 2nd best penang laksa in malaysia is at Jaya Jusco Mid Valley. Trust me, is worth to try it.

Good days past too fast. I miss it.

Chinese New Year 2006

Today is 4th day of Chinese New Year. Am start my work, Hiang at her sister house in Singapore while Lis on the way to KL for holiday. Everything is back to normal soon.

Surprisingly, this year i went to PS's hse and TKB's hse. So we have more hse to visit next yr onwards. Ang pow collection finally done. No mood to work today because still in holiday mood.

This yr is a good start for me. Played blackjack at KB's hse. Keep on win. Too bad, have to leave early due to some appointment with frens. Just find out from my colleague, strike 4D last Sunday. Won starters. HEHE

We went to Euro Fun Fair. After 2 games, we quit. Wonder why right? haha........2 of my sweetie start to puke because the games is really terrifying and scarying. As for me, still live kicking at the fun fair. The most scarying games we never took. This year should be my last year taking all this exciting games because my age is catching up with me. I don wan to die of heart attack or heart stopping. Perhaps new generation is more daring. I raise up my white flag.

good day for LIS + bad day for MAXY

Before heading off to Lis birthday party, am at the fun fair with my family. This is my 2nd time sat at carousal . I paid RM4 for it. My parents said i look childish but i like it. haha. The most interesting game i like is bumper car. I got attack by a lot of racer bumper. I hurt my knee that day. Is recovering now. My mum's sat in Wheel Fortune. She was frightened by the wheel. After the ride, she looks so happy because this is 2nd chance in her life. After all the fun, rushing to fetch my gers.

Birthday celebration for lis at Prime City Hotel. Having Jim Bean with coke + Boston Cheese cake. Still have 1/2 bottle left over because all of us is not a good drinker. keke. Too bad, the place close at 1am. We decide to go for supper instead because Lis want to eat his favourite BBQ chicken wing. So off we go.

Park our car at shophouses there. Hiang, Sam, Poh SIong and me is driving. Each one of us park our car at different place. I dont decide to park around there because no car park is available. So i decide to park far away. DOnt mind walk a bit. Hui Ling suggest to park near there. SO i make a u-turn again and park illegally. I have a feeling the police traffic will show up that day. Before i make another move, the police have summoned me. First time, received fine. Darn police traffic. Am not the only got fined, Sam and Poh Siong also get it. HAHA. Hiang was the luckiest among us. Park her car at the car park. CNY is coming. Beware of it. Dont park illegally.

My 1st blogging on year 2006. Well....my life as usual. Eat, work n sleep....haha.

Is Lis's birthday tomorrow. Wish her all the best and hope we can become good buddies trough our life, not forgetting Hiang also.
